FAQs
Learn more about the data that ProteinData.com is collecting through the Protein Diversification Survey below.
Which data is being collected?
The survey seeks information about the types of protein purchased and sold, strategies to diversify protein offerings, and business activities like research and development, marketing and adding production facilities.
Who will use the data?
Survey responses will be provided - free of charge - to ESG data providers, investors and other financial professionals for integration into their research platforms. The data will also be published on the ProteinData.com website.
What incentives do companies have to take the survey?
Companies that respond will demonstrate that they understand the value of reporting, which is increasingly expected by investors and other stakeholders. Companies with protein diversification activities or strategies to report can show stakeholders that protein diversification is on their business agenda. Companies without protein diversification activities or strategies should respond so that the survey results better reflect the actual proportion of companies that market only conventional animal protein. Otherwise, survey results may create an impression that more companies are diversifying their protein offerings, possibly signaling to investors that non-diversified companies are particularly at risk.
